Maia Nanny App Help
Make your excellence visible
Maia Nanny is built for professional nannies on the job. Ask the AI, log care by voice, share daily summaries, take early-education courses, and run developmental assessments with the companion device.
Getting started
- Open the app and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with your phone number and SMS code. New numbers are registered automatically.
- Complete your profile and add the baby’s info (name, birthday, etc.).
- You’re ready to chat, log care, or start an assessment from Home.
Most features need a baby profile first. Manage babies under Me → Care profiles.
Home: chat with Maia AI
The Home tab is your AI assistant for questions and quick logging.
- Type questions about feeding, care, or early education.
- Hold to talk — ask questions or let AI create records and to-dos.
- Confirm or edit AI cards for feeding logs, growth logs, and plans.
- Generate early-ed or food images; finished images appear in your gallery.
- With a baby profile, start a developmental assessment from the top; open past reports from the top-right.
Add a baby profile before using assessment and most logging features.
Records: log daily care
The Records tab organizes care by date. Add entries manually or by voice from Home.
- Pick a date on the calendar (days with logs are marked).
- Tap the add button and choose a record type.
- Save the entry; same-day logs feed into the daily parenting summary.
12 record types
- Bottle, breastfeeding, diaper, sleep, solids, early education
- Temperature, vaccine, supplements, notes, growth data, allergens
Useful shortcuts
- Feeding summary: trends for today or the last 7 days.
- Height & weight: growth curves against national standards.
- To-dos: create via AI; repeat once / daily / weekly / monthly.
Daily summary: show your work
AI turns the day’s logs into a shareable summary for parents.
- On Records, tap the yellow bar for today’s (or that day’s) summary.
- Wait for the AI summary to finish.
- Optionally add your note or a short story about the baby.
- Share via WeChat or other channels.
Editing feeding logs may regenerate the summary. Sharing is unavailable while generating.
Early education courses
The Early Ed tab helps you turn assessment insights into daily activities.
- Personalized boost: after an assessment, weaker domains are prioritized.
- Children’s early ed: browse 0–6 courses; filter by age and domain.
- Open a course to watch demos and guidance videos.
Full library usually requires VIP. If you hit a daily watch limit, review finished courses first.
Developmental assessment
Assessments follow China’s WS/T 580—2017 (Erxin-II) standard and require the Maia Early Education Guide device (M1). Formal assessment is included with the Early Education Guidance Kit.
- Add a baby and bind/connect the device under Me → Devices.
- On Home, tap Start developmental assessment and read the guide.
- After device checks pass, complete items using device prompts and live video.
- Enter growth data to generate the report.
- Reopen reports anytime or share them with parents.
Charge the device and install firmware updates first. Ages about 0–1 month or over 72 months may be out of range.
Devices (Early Education Guide M1)
The device provides prompts and live video during assessment. Bind it under Me → Devices.
- Enable Bluetooth and related permissions, then discover nearby devices.
- Follow on-screen steps to join Wi‑Fi and bind; check status, battery, and device info.
- Update firmware when prompted; disconnect or remove the device if you need to rebind.
On-device basics
- Press and hold the power button to turn on/off.
- Charge via USB-C; recharge promptly when battery is low.
- Use volume keys to adjust playback volume.
- Hold volume + and − together for a few seconds to reset; rebind afterward.
A device usually serves one signed-in phone at a time. If it can’t be found, check whether another phone is connected, or reset and try again.

FAQ
I didn’t receive the SMS code
Check the number, network, and SMS blockers. Wait a moment and request again. If it still fails, send feedback in the app.
Why can’t I start an assessment?
Confirm the baby is in the supported age range, the device is bound and connected, battery is OK, and firmware is up to date. Formal assessment requires the kit device.
The daily summary stays on “generating”
Keep a stable network. Recent log edits may trigger regeneration. Wait for refresh, leave and reopen the page, or contact us via feedback.
Voice logging didn’t create a record
Say time, type, and key details clearly (e.g. “120 ml bottle at 3 pm”). Confirm the AI card, or add the log manually in Records.
VIP vs Early Education Guidance Kit?
VIP unlocks the full software experience. The kit adds the device and formal Erxin-II assessment—better for professional bookings. See the pricing page for current offers.
Can I manage more than one baby?
Yes. Add or switch babies under Me → Care profiles. Home and Records follow the active baby.
Still need help?
